Property Search Engines and Single Property Websites

by Admin on March 24, 2008

Question:
Do you have any tips, script, etc. on writing effective descriptions as well as listing the site sites other than Trulia, Oodle, Homescape, PropSmart, Vast, Local, and Google Base?

Answer:
The best rule of thumb for the property search engines is to provide an accurate address and rich detail about the property. The property search engines all use the address, price, bedrooms and bathrooms as the primary search criteria. At a minimum you need to supply these details. However, they are also concerned about stale content. The more detail you can provide the more likely they are to pick up the listing. We submit the listings to the property search engines nightly. The decision to post the listing lies fully with the property search engine. We have no control over which listings are picked up and which listings are not.
