Introducing the First Truly Wireless Lockbox That Provides a Future Friendly Platform for Agents to Vastly Improve and Differentiate Service to Home Sellers Nationwide

CINCINNATI–(BUSINESS WIRE)–SentriLock (http://www.sentrilock.com), the fastest-growing and number-one rated provider of electronic lockbox systems for the residential real estate industry, today announced it will debut REALTOR® Lockbox NXT Wireless, the industry’s first truly wireless lockbox, at this week’s annual NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® Conference & Expo. The Expo takes place in San Diego Nov. 13 to 16.

Incorporating state of the art, ultra-low power digital radio technology, REALTOR® Lockbox NXT Wireless raises the standard as the most technologically advanced, yet easy-to-use lockbox solution available. Coupled with the SentriLink™ Wireless Transponder companion product, a suite of extremely useful new features are now available for real estate professionals to differentiate their services to their clients.

“Since we are majority owned by NAR, we know first hand how hard real estate professionals must work today to get the job done for their home sellers. So, SentriLock is bringing them the most future friendly lockbox to the market. We are excited to demonstrate REALTOR® Lockbox NXT Wireless in San Diego this week to real estate and association professionals,” said Scott Fisher, SentriLock CEO and Co-founder.

Fisher added, “Most Associations view an investment in lockboxes as a 10 year product commitment, so we have innovated a lockbox that can securely ‘talk’ to other devices to facilitate such things as enabling real-time communications with agents, report intrusion in vacant properties and even turn the lights on in a house to make showings safer and more convenient.”

Fisher points out that REALTOR® Lockbox NXT Wireless provides real estate professionals with a number of industry-leading features and benefits as a result of its patent-pending wireless technology. Some of these include:

Real-Time Notifications – With the wireless lockbox and SentriLink™ Wireless Transponder, real estate professionals are able to provide sellers with greater peace of mind. That’s because every person who accesses a property is reported in real time to the SentriLock system and notifications are sent to the listing agent and optionally their client.

Security – The SentriLink™ Wireless Transponder includes a motion sensor that can provide added alarm notification indicating unauthorized access to the home.

Enhanced Safety – The SentriLink™ Wireless Transponder communicates with the X10 home automation interface. This allows listing agents to use the lockbox to do such things as turn the lights on when a showing begins and off when the showing is completed.

Remote Reprogramming – NXT Wireless Lockbox settings can be changed remotely through the SentriLink™ without visiting the property.

Coexistence and Compatibility – As always, SentriLock’s enhanced lockbox is backward compatible with all previous generations.

Earlier this month, the company announced that it had received four distinguished certifications on its lockbox products from Underwriter’s Laboratories and other globally respected independent testing laboratories, making it far and away, the most-tested and accredited lockbox available to real estate brokers and agents.

SentriLock will demonstrate REALTOR® Lockbox NXT Wireless and SentriLink™ Base Station at booth 2035 at the REALTORS® Conference & Expo in San Diego.

Hi Joe – John contacted me today as promised and provided the following information. The list price to associations is $79 with discounts for orders of 10 and up. There is no additional charge for wireless. The base station price has not been set but is estimated to be between $75 and $85. There is one other charge of between $2 and $5 a month for the cellular band communication service.

Separately I have to add John and Sentrilock deserve another ‘wow!’ for amazing follow up and their obvious awareness to the importance of monitoring social commentary. I will blogging about how impressed I am with their response shortly.

I contacted SentriLock and asked about price and the response was “I have no idea”. Apparently each real estate board/association determines their own price. I asked if anyone at SentriLock had a ballpark price, some sort of ‘between this and that’ price range but the response was “No one here knows that”. Wow!
