The 2009 Webby Awards were recently released, and Cyberhomes is happy to announce that we’ve received a Webby Award as official honoree. The Webby’s cover over 70 categories and highlight websites and other media that stand out with superior quality and excellence. This year the awards had over 10,000 entries, and fewer than 15% were distinguished as an Official Honoree.
Webby awards are chosen by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences (IADAS). Judges choose nominations based on excellence in the following criteria: content, structure and navigation, visual design, functionality, interactivity and overall experience.
For Cyberhomes this award demonstrates that we are heading in the right direction. It’s also a testament to our devoted Cyberhomes team! After all, the New York Times has called the Webby’s “the Oscars of the Web.”
