You’ll love the new high-quality virtual tour, which is available at NO COST to you! Here is is included:

• Virtual Tour Effects: You no longer have to pay an outside vendor to create virtual tours, now that we’ve added a range of effects you can add to your photo slideshow. You have a range of options for creating a professional experience that will wow sellers and buyers alike, as you employ Slide, Split and the popular “Ken Burns” pan and zoom transitions to the photos in your slideshow. Did we mention this feature is free? That’s right no need to spend your valuable marketing dollars on outside virtual tours.
• Larger Photo Titles and Captions: you asked for it…you got it!
• Compatibility with all devices: You no longer have to worry about Adobe Flash player’s compatibility with all mobile devices. We said goodbye to the manual “iPad/Phone” setting. And if you don’t know what this means, don’t worry: It just means everyone can see the Virtual Tour you create whether they’re viewing it on a desktop, laptop, tablet or mobile phone.

Out with the old…

You may notice your template design has changed. Our improvements have forced us to retire some of our oldest templates because many were too narrow for the new slideshow and many contained Flash elements which are not compatible with mobile devices (including ipads).

We have replaced all retired templates currently in use with our most popular classic template. If this is not the look you are going for, no worries, templates are easily changed. Here’s how:

• Select the PowerSite you would like to change
• Click on the “Design Picker” tab
• Select your new design and Save

They say a picture Is worth a 1000 words…

Here are a few image tips and recommendations to best present your photos in the new slideshow

• Carefully choose your best landscape/horizontal oriented images all the same aspect ratio. Portrait (vertical) oriented photos will not display well (think of it as trying to put a portrait oriented photo in to a horizontally oriented picture frame).
• For the best results photos should be at least 1,200 pixels wide. Images that are too small or poor quality will most definitely negatively impact the overall quality and appeal of your site!
• If you have a portrait oriented photo that you would like to feature, we suggest you turn off the homepage slideshow (by default the homepage slideshow is turned off – to turn it on, go to: Media & Documents > Photo Display Options) and move your best portrait oriented image in the first position in your image gallery.
• There is no limit to the number of images you can upload but please keep file size under 10 MB each!
• Allowable attachment types: png, gif, jpg, jpeg.
