The White House is for Sale?
Earlier this year I discussed the value of the White House in a somewhat tongue in cheek post based on it’s Zestimate. It seems my image showing President Obama looking at a ‘Just Listed!’ banner tempted fate 🙂
Off the back of the Presidents college day apartment being available for rent, the Website Urban Turf highlighted a recent sales listing from the Redfin Website that shows the White House is now on the market for a cool $10M. The best part is that is was listed as a “FSBO”!
The story has received a lot of media coverage resulting in Redfin releasing a statement explaining how the problem happened. It seems Redfin get data from Oodle who get it from Owners.com; that is finger pointing that would make a politician proud! 😉
The (Norwegian) White House
Minimalist? Futuristic? Space like? Likely to cause snow blindness? I’m not sure how I would describe this apartment which is on the market in Norway but I do know that if I bought it, my kids would ensure it didn’t look like this for long:
