Known as Tuthill, the charming enclave in Pittston, ME, comes with 25 structures on 50 acres—all for $5.5 million. And we get to learn about how to buy it in this video from the realtor.com YouTube channel.

You know the saying, “It takes a village”? Now you can buy an entire village for $5.5 million.

Boucher, Tuttle, and their 13-year-old son live in the 4,000-square-foot main house, which was built in 1840. A small church and another small house they call the corner house are original to the property. For the elder Tuttle, who died in 2002, antiques included entire homes. The founder of Tuthill started looking for Federal-style homes that were in bad shape. Those homes were in other towns, so they had to be moved.

Over time, the elder Tuttle built a newer antique shop, barns, and garages. One garage has nine bays and the other has seven. Tuttle was also a car collector, so his showroom, measuring 80 by 100 feet, has the capacity to display more than 30 vehicles. In total, 35,388 square feet of indoor space make up the property. The buildings blend in, looking like period homes, old barns, or carriage houses. There are a total of nine residential structures on the property: four single-family homes, a two-family home, three apartments, and a studio guesthouse.

The main Greek Revival house has four bedrooms and two bathrooms, with a three-car attached garage. Boucher and Tuttle are building a new house on 25 acres they bought just down the road from the property for sale. Subdividing the land, which comes with a pond, apple trees, and flowering bushes, is not currently an option. The listing notes that the picturesque village has often served as the backdrop for commercial photo shoots.
