NAR Statement on the Passing of Senator Isakson

Washington, D.C. – December 19, 2021 (nar.realtor) National Association of Realtors® President Leslie Rouda Smith issued the following statement today after the news of the passing of Senator John Isakson:

“NAR and our community of Realtors® in Georgia and throughout the nation are saddened by the loss of Senator Johnny Isakson. Senator Isakson was a true Realtor® champion, drawing on his years of experience in real estate to advance homeownership for all Americans. Throughout his time in Congress, Senator Isakson steadfastly defended private property rights, bolstered first-time homebuyers, and served as a mentor to many in the real estate industry. His legacy of integrity, statesmanship, and service is unmatched and Realtors® will forever be proud that he was part of our family. Our hearts are with his loved ones during this time.”
