Question: Hi – I have a quick question about getting more activity on website – is there a spot to go in and use keywords to make it show on a search engine more frequently. I’m not very high – tech. do you have any suggestions as to how draw people to the site?

Answer: Yes, there are actually two places where you may enter the Page Title, Meta Description, and Keywords for your sites. They are both called “Lighthouse Marketing System”, and are accessed as follows:

1) at the account level, which will affect all future PowerSites; and 2) at the PowerSite level, which affects only the individual PowerSite you’ve selected.

To change Metatags at the Account level:

Login to your PowerSite Account
Click on the ‘Tools’ tab
Click on ‘Lighthouse Marketing System’
This area allows you to choose ‘use my own’ and insert your own words for Page Title, Description, and Keywords.
Remember to hit ‘save’ when you are done.

To change Metatags at the PowerSite level (this is done for each site individually)

Login to your PowerSite Account
Select the PowerSite you want to work on
Click on the ‘Configuration’ Tab
Click on ‘Lighthouse Marketing System’
Insert your own words for Page Title, Description, and Keywords (remember these are just for this one PowerSite).
Remember to hit ‘save’ when you are done.
