The British Columbia Government has just announced a 3-day cooling off period for buyers of real estate starting January 1, 2023. This is the measure that was introduced as a mechanism to allow buyers more comfort in their purchasing decisions, with an ability to walk away from the deal with a small penalty if they so choose.
