How do you distinguish yourself from the competition in your marketplace?

One of the main ways we stand out is through the use of our single property Websites from Agency Logic. We take a sign rider/topper in on listing presentation and then I show pictures of how it looks on sign. It appeals to the new generation of buyers and sellers. All age groups are on the net and for them to be able to get info when they want it is key. We don’t discount, but we have a variable commission plan and in this market I only get asked about it in 1 in 10 listings. Our goal is to wow our sellers so that they understand we are the experts. If we wow the sellers, then it will also wow the buyers.

How do you drive traffic to your Website and your PowerSites?

Sign toppers are the best way to drive traffic to our PowerSites. We also use mailers, pay per click, stealth ads, and truck advertising to drive traffic to our Website.

How do you market the benefits of PowerSites to your clients?

We show them that a PowerSite offers: All information now when they want it.
They give the ability for buyers to get information independently which leads to more qualified showings. By adding floor plans and other info on the PowerSite, they really get a feel for the property.

How would you describe your current real estate market and what changes (if any) have you made in the way you approach your business?

Our market is in the toilet. We have increased our marketing, increased our skills, and increased time spent on dollar productive stuff.

What resources do you use to stay on top of current trends in real estate marketing and technology?

We attend lots of conferences like CRS, Howard Brinton, Keller Williams Family Reunion, Mega Camp for Mega Agents, Webinars, and read a book a week.
