  1. Not sure I agree with all the assumptions here but, what the heck, they’re generic enough not to be wrong. High rents vs affordable mortgage payments after the mortgage interest and other deductions seems to be a missing link in this video.

    Lower income buyers are the most risky for repayment and it doesn’t bother me a ton that they may be “priced out” of the market.

    Modest price appreciation is also a good thing that will keep the housing recovery on track without any wild swings. Slow and steady wins the race, as the saying goes.
