Free Social Business Card Released To Beta Testers

Stephen M. FellsLast year IBM ran a TV commercial that showed a small company rolling out their eCommerce solution. In the ad, we see employees of a small business go from excitement to panic as a trickle of orders turns into a flood within seconds; after Friday’s beta release of the follr.com social business card I can empathize. We didn’t actually panic but I have to admit to simultaneously feeling overjoyed and overwhelmed as we watched a stream of new cards being built each and every hour.

We initially whispered news about the beta release on Friday via our Facebook Beta Testers Group and the response was immediate. More importantly, feedback was amazingly positive and that’s before anyone knows the real details of what the product will do.

After highlighting a sample real estate card (http://rlty.me/jane_smith) we received questions about how to add listing data to the card. The following video demonstrates how to do that.

We will be releasing more details about features over the next few weeks. They will include information on ‘Team Platform’, the back end reporting tool that allows companies to monitor the social touch points of their employees.

Again, to create a free social business card, simply signup via follr.com. I hope this video is of use.

  1. Steve-

    Is this the pro version?

I signed up on the Broker version and did not see all of these extras.

Is there going to be a hit tracker?

    Love it!

    • Hi Luetta,

The example is a pro version of the card. The most obvious visual difference is that it allows you to upload your own background image but there are many other differences between the free and pro versions (including the ability to add google analytics to track hits. Take a look at:

      for full details.

Very happy you like the product 🙂
