Photo’s And Updates

Stephen M. FellsPhoto’s from last week’s San Diego RE Barcamp and the NAR Conference are now on the AgencyLogic Facebook Page. If you haven’t already done so please check out (and even better fan!) the page, it can be found at:

I also wanted to mention that this weeks first national Virtual RE Barcamp was a huge success. The event had 27 sessions running over 9 hours and with more than 1,900 registrations the number of attendees was almost double the target. 71 offices participated with as many as 100 people in some offices. Almost 3,000 tweets were sent during the event and there is now talk of another Virtual RE Barcamp in January.

The event was dedicated to Kevin Warmath who passed away earlier this year. Kevin was an innovator in the real estate industry and developed one of the most successful real estate blogs in the country: Alpharetta Real Estate (LiveInAlpharetta.com). Kevin is survived by his wife Sylvie and their three children; Will, Clara, and Sophie.

In his honor, and in an effort to help the Warmath Children’s College Fund the Virtual RE Barcamp team have organized an easy-to-donate service. We hope you can find it in your hearts to make a small donation, because together we can make a big difference for the Warmath family. You can donate via the Virtual RE Barcamp Website: http://rebarcamp.com/virtual/

I also wanted to thank Jim Cronin and his team who did an amazing job bringing everything together; “Thank you!”

First National Virtual RE BarCamp

Stephen M. FellsI will forever advocate continuing education and RE Barcamp is at the heart of all that is good in this sphere. As a result I am extremely excited to announce the first virtual RE BarCamp. This free event has been happening around the country for a little over a year and everyone that attends learns a lot. But this is the first virtual event meaning no travel costs! It’s an amazing opportunity to participate in multiple Web based seminars, covering every hot topic in real estate, technology and marketing, for free from the comfort of your office or home.

Though the event is free to attend, there is a fundraiser benefiting Solid Ground to go along with the one day “un-conference”. Solid Ground is a local Seattle charity bringing housing to the homeless with their Sand Point Housing Project. We would like you to donate whatever you might have spent on the knowledge gained, networking opportunities, breakfast, lunch, and beer to a worthy cause.

For those who can make it, I look forward to seeing you next Tuesday, September 8th for a day full of great discussion, learning, and networking!
