As the COVID-19 pandemic unfolds, the real estate industry is going through considerable changes. Many agents are working from home, and leaders have been forced to find new ways to stay in communication with their teams.

During this time of uncertainty, real estate professionals should shift their focus away from closing leads, and spend more time nurturing their databases. How can we stay productive throughout the pandemic and how can we adapt to the changes in our industry? In this episode, from the Level Up Podcast, we hear about how to:

– Become regular with routine: Whether we’re going into offices or working from home, having an effective routine is key. Time management is non-negotiable, especially for those of us working from home.

– Set short-term goals: Throw out the 2020 plan: It’s simply not achievable anymore. Instead of focusing on the things we want to achieve this year, we need to set short-term, manageable goals.

– Establish a line of communication: Communication is extremely important, especially in times like these. Don’t underestimate the power of personal conversations with team members and clients alike.

During the keynote that kicked off its annual Worldwide Developers Conference on Monday, Apple unveiled iOS 14, the latest edition of the mobile operating system that powers the iPhone. As opposed to last year, when users of the 2013 iPhone 5s and the 2014 iPhone 6 and 6 Plus were left behind, this year’s update will be compatible with all iPhone models that supported iOS 13.

As the following chart shows, Apple significantly extended the life cycle of iPhone models over the years. While the original iPhone and the iPhone 3G received two major iOS updates, later models have gotten software updates for five to six years. The iPhone 6s was launched with iOS 9 in 2015 and will still be compatible when iOS 14 is officially released in the fall of 2020.
