National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals Names Top 250 Latino Agents and Top 100 Latino-led Teams in the United States

Denver, CO – July 24, 2018 (PRNewswire) The National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals® (NAHREP®) released its annual Top 250 Agents Report and RE/MAX, the world’s most productive real estate network*, once again led all brands with the most rankings. In its seventh year of publication, the annual report honors top-producing participating Latino agents in the U.S. based on 2017 residential transaction sides and volume.

“This year’s NAHREP Top 250 Agents Report includes aggregate sales of more than $4 billion in 2017,” said Mike Reagan, RE/MAX Senior Vice President, Business Alliances. “Hispanic buyers, sellers and real estate professionals are experiencing exceptional growth and influence in our local markets and continue to positively change our industry. Being so well represented in this survey year after year speaks to the diversity and high productivity of the RE/MAX network.”

For the fourth consecutive year, RE/MAX was the most represented brand in the ranking of the top 250 individual agents. An impressive 75 RE/MAX associates (30 percent) were included in the list, 29 more agents than the closest competitor (Century 21 with 46 honorees). Coldwell Bank and Keller Williams had 20 agents each, ERA was fifth with 9 and Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices was sixth with 8. Better Homes and Gardens, HomeSmart and Weichert Realtors each had one honoree on the list. Luis Ortiz with RE/MAX Partners in Berwyn, Illinois, was the highest ranking RE/MAX associate placing third with 222 transaction sides in 2017.

RE/MAX also led all brands in the top 100 individual agents by volume list:

  • RE/MAX with 23 agents
  • Century 21 with 14 agents
  • Coldwell Banker with 11 agents
  • Keller Williams with 7 agents
  • Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices with 2 agents
  • Better Homes and Gardens with 1 agent

The NAHREP Top 250 also recognized, for the first time, the top 100 Latino-led teams in this year’s report. RE/MAX dominated this category as well with 30 teams on the list (30 percent), followed by Keller Williams with 19 and Coldwell Banker with 6. Christina Edelstein with RE/MAX Results in Plymouth, Minnesota, was the highest-ranking associate in the RE/MAX network taking eighth place with 382 transactions sides in 2017.

Nominations for the Top 250 came from every major market in the nation, with Chicago, El Paso, San Antonio, Las Vegas, and Austin leading the way as the most represented cities on the list. The top 250 agents were selected based on their total transactions and total volume for 2017, verified by NAHREP and other third-party sources.

Other national surveys continue to demonstrate the high productivity of the RE/MAX network. Earlier this month, RE/MAX placed more agents than any other brand in the 2018 REAL Trends “America’s Best Real Estate Professionals” rankings. Nearly one in four agents in the survey is a RE/MAX agent.

RE/MAX also had more agents ranked than any other brand in the recent 13th Annual REAL Trends “The Thousand“, released late last month. RE/MAX agents have claimed the most rankings in the respected survey three out of the last four years. And, for the eighth consecutive year, RE/MAX agents outperformed agents with other real estate brands in the 2018 REAL Trends 500 survey – averaging more than twice as many closed sales than agents at other participating large brokerages.

RE/MAX is in more countries and territories than any other real estate brand. From a single office that opened in 1973 in Denver, Colo., RE/MAX has grown into a global real estate network with more than 120,000 sales associates in more than 100 countries and territories.
