For third consecutive year, real estate franchise recognized as a world leader in training

Austin, TX – February 16, 2016 (kw.com) Keller Williams, the world’s largest real estate franchise by agent count, was recognized by Training magazine, the leading business publication for learning and development professionals, as the No. 2 training organization across all industries in the world.

Realtors Raise Fair Housing Awareness in Local Communities

Washington, April 02, 2012 (Realtor.org) As the leading advocate for homeownership and housing issues, the National Association of Realtors® will join the nation in honoring Fair Housing Month this April.

This year marks the 44th anniversary of the 1968 landmark Fair Housing Act, which prohibits discrimination based on race, color, national origin, religion, sex, familial status or handicap. NAR also supports equal opportunity on the basis of sexual orientation, incorporating that support into the Realtor® Code of Ethics.

WordPress Basics For Real Estate Bloggers

This is a two hour course that will walk new bloggers through the basics of blogging on the WordPress platform.

Why is it special? The Real Estate Tomato doesn’t normally train the basics of using WordPress here on TU reserving these topics for their Real Estate Tomato Website Packages. Their main focus on TU is generally on marketing techniques, assuming that most of their audience is already somewhat familiar with the platform. Well… popular demand has shown them otherwise so they are trying out this intense, 2-hour, everything-you-always-wanted-to-know-about-using-WordPress class with the intentions of adding it to their regular quarterly calendar.

The class will include in depth discussions on the following:

  • Creating and Editing Posts & Pages
  • Article Styling
  • Finding, Sizing & Placing Images
  • Creating and Managing Links
  • Understanding Categories & Tags
  • Sidebar & Widget Control
  • A WordPress Plugin Primer
  • Basics of Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
  • Development of Writing and Topic Strategies
  • Basics of Real Estate Blogging.

Due to the limited length of the class, and not wanted to completely overwhelm students, some of the advanced topics will be limited in their depth. Many of these advanced subjects are expanded upon in other Tomato University classes.

Please note, this class does not include instructions on installation of WordPress and the assumption is that you already have a site set up. If you do not yet have a WordPress based website, please contact Tomato University and they’ll get started.

Please Note:

  • All classes are LIVE Webinars.
  • It is imperative that you begin logging into the class at least 5 minutes before the class start time. Accessing the class can take a few minutes depending on your internet connection.
  • Be sure to check your Spam Folder should you not have recieved the class access login link.
  • Students will be able to either call-in or connect with their headset/mic/speakers to listen in and ask questions.
  • All classes will have a live chat managed by the professor (or assistant).
  • Students will receive all Webinar login links and codes in an email (to the email on file with their TU account) 1-hour prior to class start time. If you have not received the info in your email, contact tu@realestatetomato.com immediately, and they’ll resolve.
  • Most classes will have a ‘take away’ item such as a checklist, to-do list, e-book, worksheet, resource sheet, or the like.
  • Most classes will have an additional 15 minute live Question/Answer Session after their posted schedule.
